The ATLAS DESO 300 is a portable “all in one” echosounder enclosing the recorder / digitiser / transceiver in rugged waterproof casing that completely protects the unit whilst in operation.

The DESO 300 incorporates a frequency agile board which can be switched to arange of fixed frequencies between 210 and 24 kHz allowing the echosounder to be connected to most common transducers without the exchange of internal parts.

The paper recorder not only provides a high quality permanent record that remains an essential element to most customers but also the ability to conduct surveys without the need for digital systems. When connected to an external GPS, or fitted with the optional built-in DGPS receiver, it is possible to print depths and positions directly onto the paper trace.
An optional side scan transducer gives the DESO 300 an object search capability, increasing the versatility ofthis highly capable survey echosounder.
