Moisture content is a major characteristic of paper and board because it
influences directly all mechanical properties and further usual
transforming stages like printing, coating, sizing and laminating.

The oven-drying method is worldwide used for the determation of the
moisture content of paper and board in the R&D (Research and
Developement) and Q.C. (Quality Control) of production lines.

The oven-drying method is also worldwide used for the determination of
the dry matter content of pulp, a key information for the use of pulp in
further tests and for its sale.

The TWDCA has a built-in ventilating system, which recirculates the hot
air and ensures that the drying temperature inside the hot chamber is
maintained exact and uniform.
